WHY YOU NEED A THROTTLE RESPONSE CONTROLLER?
Modern vehicles incorporate electronically controlled drive-by-wire throttle systems. The vehicle’s ECU decides the opening speed of the butterfly valve inside the throttle body, and it will only open at a certain speed, as determined by the manufacturer. This causes the unwelcome throttle lag.
You cannot make the valve open any faster simply by pushing the throttle pedal faster because engine management systems regulate the valve regardless of the movement speed of the gas pedal. To adjust the sensitivity of the electronic throttle system, you need the Pedal Commander throttle response controller. It connects to the gas pedal assembly, intercepts the signal, and modifies it to remove the throttle delay.
The Pedal Commander throttle response controller connects to the factory gas pedal assembly, intercepts the throttle signal, and alters it to eliminate the initial throttle delay. It also offers complete customization with four driving modes and 36 individual sensitivity levels, allowing you to dial in the perfect throttle response for your driving style and conditions.
