                  WHY YOU NEED A THROTTLE RESPONSE CONTROLLER?

                  Modern vehicles incorporate electronically controlled drive-by-wire throttle systems. The vehicle’s ECU decides the opening speed of the butterfly valve inside the throttle body, and it will only open at a certain speed, as determined by the manufacturer.                   You cannot make the valve open any faster simply by pushing the throttle pedal faster because engine management systems regulate the valve regardless of the movement speed of the gas pedal.                   To activate Pedal Commander’s anti-theft feature, you need to select a subscription plan. You can either get a monthly subscription for $0.99 that automatically renews each month, or you can go for an annual recurring subscription for $9.99. You can subscribe through the Pedal Commander mobile app when you go into the anti-theft menu. You can easily cancel your subscription anytime through the App Store or Play Store.

                  The Pedal Commander throttle response controller offers a whole new layer of security. It comes with a subscription-based anti-theft feature for when you have to leave your vehicle unattended out in the open. Pedal Commander’s anti-theft mode prevents unauthorized control of your vehicle, ensuring it stays secure and immobile and gives you complete peace of mind.

                  When activated, Pedal Commander’s anti-theft feature renders your vehicle’s throttle system completely unresponsive. For the mode to be active, you must follow a simple calibration process on the Pedal Commander mobile app after subscribing to the service.

                  Pedal Commander’s anti-theft feature is currently compatible with select vehicles. We are doing our best to offer the service for every vehicle soon.

                  SIMPLE CALIBRATION PROCEDURE

                  To activate your Pedal Commander's anti-theft mode, you must run a simple, three-step calibration on the Pedal Commander mobile app. Make sure your unit is correctly paired with the app before starting calibration. In the mobile app, go to the Anti-Theft menu and click the Anti-Theft Mode Calibration button, then follow these steps.

                  IMPORTANT: Do not press the accelerator pedalduring the calibration process. Once the calibration is complete, you can use the anti-theft mode whenever needed

                  Ignition On

                  Turn the key to the ON position without starting the engine, or press the Engine Start button without pushing the brake pedal so the engine does not crank.

                  Set Voltage Ratings

                  Do not press the accelerator; save the voltage reading as the MIN value. Then press the accelerator pedal all the way down, and once the voltage reading is steady, save it as the MAX value.

                  Save and Exit

                  Make sure the voltage readings are correct, then save to complete the calibration procedure.

                  The Pedal Commander throttle response controller features a new anti-theft mode. This mode locks the throttle system and renders it completely unusable when engaged, creating an extra layer of security for your pride and joy.

                  The Pedal Commander throttle response controller comes with Bluetooth connectivity for wireless control of the unit. You can seamlessly pair your device via our free mobile app and use it from your smartphone.

                  Plug-and-Play Install

                  Installing the Pedal Commander throttle response controller is a breeze. Unplug the factory throttle pedal plug, clip in the Pedal Commander harness, re-attach the factory plug, route and secure the cables to the desired location, and you’re good to go!

                  Pedal Commander does not interfere with the factory ECU settings, add horsepower, or permanently alter anything.
