Pedal Commander® simply connects to the gas pedal plug with OEM connectors. It does not change any setting permanently, flag the ECU, and it is completely untraceable. Pedal Commander® does not affect the manufacturer’s warranty or your vehicle’s reliability.
Pedal Commander® is completely plug-and-play. Installation requires no tools, wire cutting or splicing, or professional skills. Follow these basic steps:
Step 1: Download the App
Head over to your app store and get the free Pedal Commander® app.
Step 2: Turn Off the Ignition
Power off your vehicle, leave the driver’s door open, move the keyfob away, and wait 10-15 minutes for the ECU to shut off completely.
Step 3: Plug In the Pedal Commander®
Locate the factory gas pedal connector, disconnect it, and connect the Pedal Commander® harness. Ensure you hear the “click” sound on both ends of the harness for a secure connection.
Step 4: Mount the Unit
Secure the cabling and mount the Pedal Commander® unit wherever you want. You can also stash it away and use the free mobile app.
Step 5: Pair Your Device
Turn the ignition to the ACC position, and the Pedal Commander® will automatically turn on. Switch on Bluetooth on your mobile device and connect to your Pedal Commander®.
Step 6: Discover Anti-Theft
Head to the Anti-Theft menu on the app, select your plan and run the simple 3-step setup. Discover the easiest security measure you can take for FREE for the first 14 days!
