WHAT IS THROTTLE LAG?

When you first press down on the accelerator, there is a delay before anything actually happens. Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) systems cause this as they take the signal from the accelerator pedal when you press it and send it to the vehicle’s ECU. All of this process causes a delay called throttle lag. Besides, manufacturers deliberately leave the delay there because it makes the vehicle suitable for various types of drivers.

Some may need such precautions, but the delay may become frustrating in some scenarios. Pedal Commander® is the easiest and most effective solution for Cadillac XT6 drivers who want power instantly.

HOW DOES PEDAL COMMANDER® IMPROVE MY VEHICLE

Modern vehicles have some throttle delay to suit a wide variety of driver types. Some people do need such precautions, but for those who don’t, Pedal Commander® comes in as the most effective solution to eliminate the throttle delay.

Pedal Commander® removes the delay, enabling you to fully utilize your SUV’s potential. Instant power delivery will enhance your Cadillac XT6 in many ways: quicker acceleration, smoother driving, and fuel savings at the pump, to name a few.

The Pedal Commander® can also be programmed to decrease throttle sensitivity. A limited throttle response enables you to save some fuel, or maintain stability on slippery surfaces, or you can also use it as a valet mode.
