WHAT IS THROTTLE LAG?

When you first press down on the accelerator, there is a delay before anything actually happens. Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) systems cause this as they take the signal from the accelerator pedal when you press it and send it to the vehicle’s ECU. All of this process causes a delay called throttle lag. Besides, manufacturers deliberately leave the delay there because it makes the vehicle suitable for various types of drivers.

Pedal Commander®, the best electronic throttle controller, eliminates this throttle lag, granting instant access to your vehicle’s power when you step on the gas. This performance upgrade is essential for drivers who demand a highly responsive and exhilarating driving experience in their Polaris General.

HOW DOES PEDAL COMMANDER® IMPROVE YOUR VEHICLE?

Most modern vehicles have some throttle delay to suit a wide variety of drivers. Some may need such precautions, but for those who want power instantly, Pedal Commander® comes in as the easiest and most effective upgrade.

Pedal Commander® enhances your vehicle’s power delivery by removing the throttle delay, giving you the ability to use the full potential of your Polaris General from the moment you press the gas pedal. The instant power delivery will transform your experience. You will also be able to fine-tune the throttle for different situations.

Pedal Commander® can also be programmed to decrease the throttle sensitivity. A slower throttle response will give you precise vehicle control on muddy surfaces, wet trails or rock crawling scenarios, providing a more controlled power delivery.

WHY CHOOSE PEDAL COMMANDER®?

If you’re into upgrading your off-roader, you must know a thing or two about throttle response controllers. There are numerous options available, and here are some of the reasons why you should choose the Pedal Commander® throttle response controller over other offerings.

Most Advanced Internals: Pedal Commander® throttle response controller comes with the most advanced chip available in the industry. It has better processing power compared to the competition.
Highly Customizable: Pedal Commander® has four driving modes: Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+. Each mode has nine increment levels, meaning you have 36 individual throttle settings to choose from. This high level of customization enables you to perfectly tune the throttle response of your Polaris General for various terrains.
Better Precision: Pedal Commander®’s Eco Mode doubles as an off-road mode. When too much power could ruin your traction, you can switch to Eco and precisely modulate the throttle.
Quick and Easy Installation: Pedal Commander®'s installation process is hassle-free and DIY-friendly. It comes packed with everything you need, and it is mostly a 15-minute job requiring no special tools or cutting or splicing wires.
